Is weed legal in Gloucester?

The NJ Cannabis Regulatory, Enforcement Assistance, and Marketplace Modernization (CREAMM) Act made it legal for adults at least 21 years old and older to purchase cannabis for recreational use all over the state. In 2021, the city of Gloucester chose not to allow cannabis dispensaries in the area, but you can still purchase cannabis near the city and take it to your private residence for use. Remember:

• Bring along your photo ID, such as a driver’s license or military ID
• NJ has daily purchase limits of no more than 1 ounce of cannabis products per day
• You’re free to visit multiple dispensaries as long as you stick to purchase limits
